2nd Medical Mission Trip - 1998

The second trip to the Agbozume project site from July 18 to August 14, 1998 was a great success. The fifteen-member team participated in:

• Promoting the 'Health and Development Institute' through the:
  (a) Christian Leadership Training ;
  (b) Computer Science Training; and
  (c) Community Health Worker Training.

• Sustaining the 'Medical Institutions Support Project'.

• Hosting a four-day 'Health Fair' from July 24 - July 27, when about 1400 people participated.

• Reorganizing the 'IHDN Family Medical Center'.

• Sightseeing (a) some interesting tourist sites in Ghana (the capital city, Accra; the University of Ghana in Accra; the Aksosombo Dam, the largest man-made lake in the world; the Cape Coast Slave Castle, one of the slave castles on the west coast of Africa; and (b) Togo, the eastern neighbor of Ghana.
